The ombre

Hopefully, at some point, one of my lovely lady clients will let me do this on them. It may seem like just a trend, but personally I think if you match your roots close enough, it can be a nice looking low maintenance color/style. Low maintenance color choices like peekaboo highlights and half head color (different color from the occipital bone down) are popular for a good reason. They can grow out and look good for a long time. Of course it's only low maintenance if you're not going gray. I guarantee all the celebs getting this style are gray, but are trying to fool people into thinking their roots are growing in dark.( which makes it a high maintenance hair color after all) :-)

Christina's long layers & super bangs

Ain't it the way. 3 posts in one night after a year of nothing. Anyhoo, these are some pics of my sis, Christina in chronological order. Since her initial hair makeover 2 years ago, (see old post) I've been changing things up slightly, over this past year. She wanted to grow her hair super long and into a V shape. So we did the V shape with long, razored layers and razored side bangs. In her most recent pic at the bottom, you can see I used a different razoring technique on her where you section and twist the hair and then razor down. Notice how it gives that tendrily effect. :-)

SoRed

Here's a pic of Holly's bright red violet highlights I did for her in the fall. The pic is pretty dark and blurry, but there are some violet streaks that I "baylayaged" in around the foils. If I could go back in time I would've taken a closer pic, but you get the idea...I hope :-)

Nicole, the hair chameleon

Hi guys. Sorry I've gone so long without posting. Between this summer and buying a house, I got a little side tracked. But I've been doing tons of hair the whole time, I assure you. Here are some cuts and colors I've done for my good friend and best client, Nicole this past year.
